How GridFrame is licensed
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Every GridFrame customer gets a written agreement. We don't write our own fine print: we use the Common Paper Software License Agreement, a free, published standard contract written by a committee of attorneys and used by many software companies.
What you sign
| Document | What it is |
|---|---|
| Order form | The business details: which edition of GridFrame, how many computers it runs on, any pilot period, the fees (if any), and the few choices the standard terms leave open, including Idaho law. |
| Standard terms | The Common Paper Software License Agreement, used as published and attached so you can read every word. |
The main points, in plain English
- It runs on your computers. GridFrame is installed on equipment your business owns, and your records stay there.
- Your data is yours. You can export all of it, and our licensing never locks you out of your data, its export or its backups.
- Fees are written down. Your order form says exactly what you pay, if anything; a new fee needs a new agreement.
- Setup, training and support come from a service partner, such as Falls Technology Services, under its own agreement.
This page is a summary to help you understand our agreements. The agreement you sign is what applies.
